BS in Technology and Information Management

Bachelor of Science in Technology and Information Management is provided online at Upper Iowa University and the purpose of the technology and information management major is to provide a combination of business and technology courses to enable one to serve in a managerial and leadership capacity while working with computer specialists, programmers, managers, end-users and clients.

This course consists of 69 semester credits, including the business core of foundation courses. Also one must complete the general education core, along with additional elective credits to complete the 120 semester credits required for the Bachelor of Science degree. At least 15 credits in this major must be earned in courses numbered 300 or above from a four-year institution.

The University Upper Iowa University is founded in 1857 and is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association and is approved by the Louisiana Higher Education Board, the Wisconsin Educational Approval Board, and the Iowa Department of Education for teacher education in Iowa only. The programs offered are approved by the states of Iowa, Kansas is restricted, Louisiana, Texas, and Wisconsin for veterans' benefits.
