MS in Financial Management and Information Systems online is to be launched in fall 2005, is mainly for mid-career professionals who want to do a graduate degree that combines a specialized financial management curriculum with the information systems field in an integrated program. This program provides students with an advanced degree that integrates financial management and information systems.

The curriculum is designed to include the increasing requirement that current and future financial managers have specific knowledge and skills in IT, including the specialized software in this field. Program undergoing student must have completed the following 15 credit hours of previous course work to attain degree-seeking status.

  • 3 credit hours of accounting

  • 6 credit hours of technology courses from the following areas :

    4. Telecommunications
    5. Computer Science
    6. Database Development
    7. Systems Development
    8. Computer Security
    9. E-commerce

  • 6 credit hours of finance from the following finance content areas :
