Courses in the Telecommunications Management include:

• Telecommunications Fundamentals
  This includes the study of fundamental concepts in telecommunications, signal and channel bandwidth, digitization of voice, data transmission, analog and digital modulation techniques, multiplexing, and switching. It also includes the introduction of networking.

• Data Networking Fundamentals
  This includes the study of DTE to DCE physical connection, data link protocols, the OSI reference model, LANs, MANs, LAN interconnection and the role of bridges and routers, X.25, TCP/IP, Frame Relay, SMDS, SNA, ISDN, SS7, BISDN, and enterprise networks. You can also learn traffic engineering.

• Applied Telecommunications
  This include the study of Services Digital Network and broadband ISDN architecture and protocols, Signaling System 7 (SS7) network structure and architecture, Packet switching, Frame Relay and the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), Network Management.

• LAN and Internetworking
  This includes the study of how dissimilar data networks to provide users with access to network resources from anywhere at anytime. What is difference between the Internet and intranets? Internetworking devices: routers, bridges, and gateways.
