Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering - Network Management
As there is increase in the demand for qualified IT professionals The CTU Online designed the BSSE with concentration in Network Management which prepares students with the skills and knowledge in the design, implementation, administration, maintenance and management of network infrastructures.
Along with undergraduate foundation studies, students will learn about how to install, configure, and support internal and/or external networks, troubleshoot networks, analyze the business and technical requirements for a network infrastructure and design a network infrastructure that meets these requirements.
The BSSE with concentration in Network Management degree includes the following courses:
- Network Infrastructure Administration
- Network Infrastructure Design
- Implementing, Managing and Maintaining a Network Infrastructure
- Object-Oriented Methods
- Software Engineering Process
- Software Engineering Application
- UNIX Network Administration
Students with no prior college or military training can complete this degree program online in 2 1/2 years. While students who have prior college credit, military experience or an Associate's degree may be eligible for the CTU Online Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program. In some cases, this may shorten to 15 months.
