Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

The BS in Criminal Justice program provides students with solid knowledge base in the triad areas of the courts, corrections, law enforcement as well as the management skills needed for career advancement.

This unique program offers students a component of forensic study not usually available at the undergraduate level. All the courses are taught by professors who have professional experience in their fields.

Professional Certificates are included in this degree. Students can earn four Professional Certificates throughout this coursework without adding any additional courses or tuition cost. Certificates included in this degree course are:

• Corrections Technician
• Law Enforcement Skills
• Crime Scene Investigation
• Legal Studies and Court Process

Students with no prior college or military training can complete this degree program online in 2 1/2 years. While students who have prior college credit, military experience or an Associate's degree may be eligible for the CTU Online Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program. In some cases, this may shorten to 15 months.

Students completing this course can pursue their career as police officer, deputy sheriff, fraud investigator, highway patrol officer and more.
