Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Health

The curriculum first focuses on in-depth studies of the history and foundations of naturopathy, after that it focuses on concepts of the human energy field and mind/body health that were begun in earlier programs. Students will also gain the overview of both traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines and also have five elective courses.

Preparatory to the dissertation are courses in research design and current natural health research. All Ph.D. candidates complete a dissertation. Many graduates of this degree practice as natural health consultants.

Although not required for the completion of this course, students may elect to complete their courses and a practicum designed to assist them in building their skills as practitioners.

Many graduates of Clayton College have written books concerning aspects of natural health. CCNH offers support for students who want to improve their writing skills.
