AGU designed Master of Acquisition Management degree to provide students with an intensive knowledge of acquisition, contracting and procurement processes and how these practices and techniques interrelate with standard business management processes of finance, law, operations, marketing and technical management.

Each course has 3 credits, 36 credits are required. By completing this course students may select a comprehensive exam or an approved project.

The main objective of AGU's M.A.M. course is to help students to improve their present work capabilities, and to prepare themselves for increasing acquisition management responsibilities, by the development of an intensive knowledge of their chosen discipline on a broad base of information on the management theories, procedures, practices, techniques and skills associated with business operations.

This course also provides students the general knowledge, techniques and skills associated with specific areas of specialization in the Government environment that are integrated into the general area of Federal Government Contracting. This provides a more meaningful educational experience to students.

The course emphasis is on preparing students to apply what they have learned in the professional environment. By this course students have multiple career options in the field of Federal Government Contracting.
